| Bio | Kenny Onasanya (BPharm, MSc) is a pharmacist and procurement and supply chain management expert with over 15 years diversified experience covering pharmaceutical supply chain mapping and assessments, system design, supply chain capacity building, project management, procurement and supply chain management. He has an MSc in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (with Distinction) from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK and Certification in Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain from Georgia Tech Georgia, Atlanta, USA. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS UK). He is currently Training Coordinator at i+ solutions and since 2013 a Lecturer in Procurement and supply chain management at University of Rwanda, Kigali. He has experience in the design and development of online course modules, job aids and facilitating stakeholder workshops, adult training and online training. He served as a Team Lead / Project Manager in a GBP 3.3m DFID funded Neglected Tropical Diseases supply chain transformational / capacity building project in Nigeria. The project accomplishment included over 112m treatments, training of over 5,000 front line health facility workers and two internationally acclaimed award- UK Supply Chain Partnership Global Freight Award 2016 as well as the Public and Third Sector Supply Chain Excellence Award 2016. |
